Welcome to the Singing Christmas Tree® – 2018 Königstein Edition
The Legendary Singing Christmas Tree® of the German-American Community Choir e.V. – 2018 the first time in a new variation in the Taunus
For more than 40 years now, the Singing Christmas Tree® has been delighting the Rhine-Main region in the run up to Christmas – whether at its performance at the Frankfurt Römer Christmas Market on the First Sunday of Advent or during one of its seven concerts on the weekend of the 2nd Advent in the Frauenfriedenskirche in Frankfurt – Bockenheim.
As you may have heard in our various announcements as well as in the media, the Frauenfriedenskirche will be renovated in 2018/2019. As a result, the German-American Community Choir e.V. temporarily loses its hometown for the performances of the Singing Christmas Tree® on the 2nd Advent weekend.
We are all the more pleased to have found a temporary home in 2018 at the “Haus der Begegnung” in Königstein, with wonderful hosts.
The concerts will take place in Koenigstein – as usual – on the 2nd weekend of Advent, but different in number and layout from the usual Singing Christmas Tree® in light of the slightly different variation for 2018:

Fresh ideas are waiting for our regular audience in varied form – for the first time we welcome new guests to a Christmas concert with a different twist.

Early admission for handicapped visitors at the door:
For several years now, we have had an early entrance for disabled visitors. This will take place 15 minutes before the official entrance via the box office / disability entrance. Please follow the signs. For each needy visitor an accompanying person is admitted. An advance booking is not required for this purpose, but the visitors should arrive in time at the side entrance (box office).
